GETTING STARTED

Bring a clear starting point.

We agree on who supplies records, how frequently they are shared and when reporting will be completed. You work directly with Harsh to resolve questions and keep the monthly routine manageable.

Information we may request

  • The bookkeeping software you use and the last month completed
  • A list of business bank accounts, credit cards and payment platforms
  • Statements, sales invoices, supplier bills and receipts
  • Details of loans, payroll and owner transactions, where applicable
  • Any existing reports and a list of unresolved bookkeeping questions

Start with a brief enquiry. We’ll agree on how to share documents after discussing your needs.

YOUR QUESTIONS

Bookkeeping FAQs

Useful answers before you get started.

Can you take over from my current bookkeeper?

Yes. We can agree on a handover date, review the opening position and identify any outstanding work. We’ll discuss software access, prior reports and who is responsible for filings near the transition.

Do you work with QuickBooks and Xero?

Yes. We provide QuickBooks and Xero setup and bookkeeping support. Tell us which version and integrations you use so we can confirm the right arrangement.

Can you catch up several months of bookkeeping?

Yes. We first assess the records available and the period outstanding, then agree on cleanup priorities, fees and the information needed before work begins.

Are bank statements enough for bookkeeping?

Statements help reconcile transactions, but supporting records such as invoices and receipts explain the underlying activity. Your recordkeeping requirements depend on your business. CRA recordkeeping guidance.

How much does monthly bookkeeping cost?

Fees depend on transaction volume, the number of accounts, reporting needs and the condition of your records. We agree on the scope and fees before starting; historical cleanup can be assessed separately.

CRA references checked September 14, 2026. Requirements depend on your circumstances.
